Rainbow and Family
My wife ‘Rainbow’ or Saloong in Thai.
Saloong was born in Chiang Mai – 1965. We met about 10 years ago, Saloong was widowed and working at four jobs trying to give her daughter, Nook, an education. Together we put Nook through high school and then university in Chiang Mai.
I do like building so we first built a two storied house on Nook’s land and later an Australian style home on land we bought in the village, the village where Saloong grew up and her relatives and friends live. It is a peaceful lifestyle here, each day I can relax and do as I please. My only comments are feed the chooks, water the garden when needed and every 90 days report to Thai Immigration my whereabouts, that’s it.
