My Life Now, in Thailand

Next page –

In Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I moved to Thailand because I wanted to live a more free and peaceful life.
In Australia, I felt like an outsider who did not fit in with the mainstream society. I was interested in building and experimenting with things, but I faced many regulations and restrictions that limited my creativity. I also disliked the selfish and aggressive attitude of some people who did not care about others.
In Thailand, I found a different culture that suited me better. The people here are friendly and helpful, and they have a strong sense of community. They do not judge me for being different, but respect me for who I am.
The cost of living is also low, and I can enjoy the natural beauty and the delicious food of this country.
I feel more relaxed and happy here than I ever did in Australia.
Another reason why I moved to Thailand is because of my wife. She is Thai, very Buddhist, and she was born in this village. She loves her family and her homeland, and she would not be happy living in Australia. I want to support her and make her happy, so I decided to live with her in Thailand. She is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I am grateful for her every day.
