Mullumbimby Property
The property has slowly improved over the 40 years
Here are the images of my 5-acre property in Mullumbimby, NSW. I started working on the land in 1982 and have many fond memories of living on the land, building, preserving the bushland, experimenting with water ways, and teaching my sons life skills. The trees that were planted have grown into massive, beautiful specimens, and the old cars and rubbish have been removed. The cabin on the property was built from 8-foot hardwood palings, and fences were erected around the property. Over 600 Australian trees were planted, many of which still remain. I later built a pole home on the top of the block, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area. The steepness of the land adds to the excitement of being there. My son Tim now owns the property and has improved the house and land greatly. The images include early days and later days of Tim’s involvement with improvements.
