Nook’s House
Nook’s house at Hang Dong, Chiang Mai
Saloong’s daughter, Nook, inherited a small parcel of land from her grandmother. There was a small home on the land which we demolished so as to build a new home. Here, I’ll put the images of the house and the fabulous party we had for the house. At present Nook’s house is vacant, it will be lived in again when someone needs a home or Nook may move in when she decides to marry and have a family. as we are now living in the new single story house not far away.

The House Warming Party
It is very traditional to have a house warming party in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, traditional in all of Thailand I’d say.
It was so well organised, from street closure, tents, catering, dancing girls, everything to the cleanup next day. nothing was overlooked.
